View Article  Welcome to the Air Anglia blog

Greetings to all viewers.

Air Anglia was formed as a merger of 3 smaller airlines Anglian Air Charter, Norfolk Airways and Rig Air and last saw scheduled services at the end of 1979 when it was a dominant partner in a merger with Air Westward, Air Wales and British Island Airways to become Air UK. Many of the staff remained in the industry for many years to come. In some of it's bases  such as Norwich it seemed that every other person had done a spell there, but it was never as good as in the old Air Anglia days. If you worked for Air Anglia or Air UK and have any memories to pass on please do so here.

Thankyou
